How to create a Group

Hello everyone!

We thought it would be good to give you a quick "how to" on creating groups on eTISC. However, before you create one please check if there isn't already a group that would suit your needs. We simply would like to avoid "duplication of efforts". Also, please make sure that your group "theme" is related to "Technology and Innovation Support Centers".

Once you are sure you want to create a group this is how you do it:

1. Go to the "GROUPS" link in the navigation bar (the thin blue bar just below the header/eTISC logo).

2. Click the "Add" button in the right upper corner of the screen.

3. A new window opens with settings for your new group. There are a few important settings we would urge you to look at closely: "Privacy Settings", "Language" (you can set the user interface language of your group) and "Features".

4. You don't need to complete the "group address" - it will be created automatically from your group's name (but feel free to use this option).

Well that's basically it! Register your group and wait for the approval by the eTISC Administrators.

 

P.S.: As ALWAYS there is a "BUT": If you register a group we expect that you keep the group alive! :) Groups that show no activity for a long period of time will be deleted.
