WIPO will be launching its new report that will delve into the fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory (FRAND) economics, when licensing standard essential patents (SEPs). The report will look at what economic methods can help assess FRAND licensing terms and support more informed negotiations and dispute resolution?

Further focus will be paced on the economic valuation methods used to assess FRAND licensing terms in the field of standard essential patents. It examines the principal approaches to FRAND determination, their strengths and limitations, and their practical application in SEP licensing processes.

The report will be presented during a live virtual roundtable featuring report contributors and experts from across the global SEP landscape.
