Following the great success of the WIPO guides on “Identifying Inventions in the Public Domain” and “Using Inventions in the Public Domain”, this new Toolkit, which complements the above-named guides, is designed to support the development of new products and services based on inventions in the public domain as well as associated multimedia reference and learning resources.
The event will include an introduction of the Toolkit and associated reference and learning resources by their principal authors as well as reflections from representatives from WIPO member states involved in their piloting.
It will be held in English with interpretation in French and Spanish.
