The theme for this year's World IP Day is - IP and Youth: Innovating for a Better Future!
The youth all across the world are creating, innovating and fostering positive change in the IP space and it is WIPO's aim to journey on this path with them, by placing them at the center of this celebration.
There will be ample opportunities to take part in specially dedicated activities which focus on supporting and encouraging the youth to nurture their innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, such as joining the global conversation and sharing your views on how innovation can shape the world you want to live in by using #WorldIPDay.
The Day will also look at how creators and entrepreneurs can use intellectual property rights to achieve their goals, generate income, create jobs, tackle local and global challenges and support community and national development. World IP Day 2022 will celebrate the huge potential of young people to innovate and drive change for a better future.
