Under Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) project, IPO Pakistan is making endeavor to promote the use of patent information among researchers and entrepreneurs in Pakistan. In this regard, IPO and HEC organized a webinar to educate the researchers, faculty members, ORIC /TISC officials on freely available digital tools developed by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Mr. Andrew Czajkowski, Director, Technology and Innovation Support Division ,Mr. Zain Ul-Abdin, Director General (R&D), Mr. Meesaq Arif, Executive Director , TISC IPO-Pakistan reiterated their commitment to coordinate for strengthening TISC network in Pakistan.
The experts from WIPO, Ms. Nathalie Montillot and Mr. Mussadiq Hussain introduced the participants to the Guides to identify and utilize the public domain inventions, WIPO INSPIRE, new ETISC portal and TISC Project and performance Management (TPPM) Platform.
Moreover, Mr. Ghulam Mujtaba highlighted the IP protection options available for computer programs and computer implanted inventions in Pakistan.
