Short biography:
Dr Marie-Pierre Vidonne has more than 20 years’ experience in Research and Development both in public and private sector. She’s now active in the strategic information. Her strengths are linked to searches and analyses of scientific technical information and patent landscapes in order to anticipate developments and adapt enterprises to new challenges. She gives training sessions in search methodology, monitoring tools and open access publications. She’s also active in several Wikimedia projects and teaches how to become a Wikipedia contributor

Après 20 ans en recherche et développement aussi bien dans l’industrie que dans la recherche académique, Dr Marie-Pierre Vidonne est aujourd’hui active dans l'information stratégique. Ses points forts sont la recherche et l’analyse d’informations scientifiques et techniques et la cartographie brevets afin d’anticiper les évolutions de l’environnement et s’adapter aux nouveaux challenges des entreprises. Elle forme également aux méthodologies de recherche et d'analyse de l’information, aux outils de veille et aux publications en open access- Elle est également contributrice sur les projets Wikimedia francophone et anglophone et anime des ateliers pour apprendre à contribuer sur Wikipedia.
