Thanks Alex,

This is good so that others with similar queries or even responses to my questions can contribute.

Thank you Alext for your valuable input re ARDI:

Having helped to provide TISC training in 5 countries over the last 3 years and experiencing eacht ime how WIPO "advertises" access to ARDI and ASPI it always surprises me how less these options are used.  They both provide access to world-wide non-patent respective patent publications at low or no costs. It is for free, or almost for free, why is it then not more often requested in the TISC community????

Flora Tibazarwa asks: "are the Elsevier journals ... on ARDI restricted to certain countries after a set time...?"

Duration of ARDI as a program: The publishers have committed themselves to maintaining ARDI until at least 2020, with the possibility of a further extension.

Eligibility criteria: Changes may occur in these criteria, meaning that institutions in certain countries may move from one group to another (from Group A with free access to Group B with low-cost access or vice versa), graduate from ARDI (losing eligibility), or entering ARDI (newly gaining eligibility).

Journal archives: Some publishers provide full access to archived articles, while others only provide limited access to archived articles. As of November 2013, Elsevier only provides access to archives back to 1995.
